Cancel Recess, Vote on Articles of Impeachment

We're glad Speaker Pelosi finally said out loud what a majority of the Democratic Caucus and constituents have been saying for months: Donald Trump has betrayed his oath of office, betrayed our national security, and betrayed the integrity of our elections. Now, we need to see her words backed up with action: cancel recess, and get to a vote on articles of impeachment as soon as humanly possible.

‘Impeachment August’ Leaders Applaud House Judiciary Committee for Formalizing Impeachment Inquiry This Week

Thanks to the groundswell of constituent pressure driven by a coalition of grassroots organizations, the House Judiciary Committee is expected to vote on Thursday to formalize an impeachment inquiry. Following the momentum gained during ‘Impeachment August,’ the groups are calling on all House Democrats to express explicit support of the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment inquiry and implore Chairman Nadler to increase the urgency with which his committee investigates Donald Trump’s criminal activity.

Indivisible Project launches the No Filibuster campaign

Today, the Indivisible Project launched its campaign to end the filibuster. The campaign aims to demystify the filibuster and have the Indivisible community pressure their senators and the 2020 presidential candidates to eliminate the filibuster. Indivisibles are also provided resources to help them record videos about progressive priorities that the filibuster is hindering and to submit letters to the editor about the issue.

Results of Indivisible Supporter Poll: Warren Maintains Lead

According to a survey conducted following last week’s presidential primary debates, Senator Elizabeth Warren continues to be the first choice among the Indivisible community. Of 16,300 respondents, 84% said they are considering voting for her in the Democratic presidential primaries and nearly half of all respondents indicating that they would vote for Senator Warren were the election held today.

Indivisible’s Post-Debate Flash Poll: Warren impresses in Democratic Debate

Following the first night of the second round of Democratic primary debates in Detroit, the Indivisible Project surveyed the Indivisible community via SMS text message. Our survey shows that the Indivisible community, more than anything, wants progressive ideas to remain center stage in the primaries and wants candidates to fight for these ideas.

Indivisible supporter poll: Warren and Harris lead after strong debate performances

Indivisibles are clearly excited by the historic candidates we’re seeing this cycle. Warren, Harris, Buttigieg, Castro, and Booker received the highest net support in our survey, and each of their candidacies fights back against the narrative that only a straight white man can beat Trump. Indivisibles changed the political map last year when they helped flip the House and ushered in a new generation of Democratic leaders. They know what is politically possible because they are the ones who, with our allies, put in the work to make it possible.
