Bio:

Liz Towne is Indivisible’s General Counsel, responsible for providing strategic legal counsel to the Executive Directors, Senior Management and the Board of Directors on a range of issues including general corporate, tax-exempt compliance, campaign finance, lobbying disclosure, labor relations, liability management and institutional risk, among other things. Before joining the Indivisible Project, she served for 11 years as the General Counsel to Working America. Her nonprofit career includes work as the Director of Advocacy Programs at Alliance for Justice where she was responsible for strengthening the capacity of the public interest community to influence public policy and increasing foundation support for nonprofit advocacy. Liz also served in the Clinton Administration in the Office of General Counsel at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and as counsel to Gore 2000, Inc., Clinton/Gore '96, and the March Fund for Cancer Education.
