Tell Your Senators: End Our Unauthorized War in Yemen

The Senate will soon debate and vote on an American war. Specifically, it will take up a bipartisan resolution (S.J.Res. 54) to end U.S. participation in the Yemen civil war. This is a big deal. The United States’ role in the Yemen war is complicated and controversial. Importantly, it also hasn’t been authorized by Congress.

Both the House and Senate will be off from March 24—April 9, which means you have another opportunity to hold your MoC accountable and build momentum going into election season.

What’s Next in the Fight to Protect Dreamers

Even though Congress still hasn’t passed relief for Dreamers, they will soon vote to deport them. Republicans plan to pass an omnibus spending bill by March 23 and they hope to increase funding for Trump’s deportation machine. Use our resource to tell your MoC to oppose increased funding for agents, detention center beds, and Trump’s wall.

The students of Parkland and other youth leaders have unapologetically demanded that their Members of Congress (MoCs) protect them from the uniquely American epidemic of mass shootings. Despite this movement, Republican Senators are prepared to confirm the NRA’s favorite lawyer to a lifetime district court judgeship.

This guide focuses on how to act locally to replace them. To stop the Trump agenda of racism, authoritarianism, and plutocracy, we have to take back power. Indivisible groups, acting in concert with thousands more around the country, have the potential to help bring about the change we need.
